Daniel Schmitt is a premier collector and luxury car dealer in St. Louis, Missouri. With extensive knowledge and experience in the classic auto industry, he is committed to delivering only the highest quality customer service.

Daniel Schmitt’s father, Mr. Charles Schmitt was one of the first classic car dealers in the country, starting his business in the mid-50s, and eventually becoming the authorized Rolls-Royce dealer for the state of Missouri. He was also an authorized dealer for the exquisite marques Stutz and Excalibur. Daniel Schmitt started working for his father, at first as a mechanic, and then climbing his way up to the Sales Manager position, before leaving and opening his own dealership in 1989. Starting with just one building, the company has now grown to possess over 3 acres with two luxurious showrooms, two warehouses and two state of the art service department and restoration facility.  

Our General Manager, John Sherman and Daniel Schmitt worked together nearly 40 years ago, selling Rolls-Royce motorcars. He then went on to sell Rolls-Royce motorcars in Dallas, and eventually returned to St. Louis and sold classic cars at the St. Louis Car Museum. John has over 40 years of classic car experience and is one of the most knowledgeable collector car enthusiasts in the industry.    Daniel Schmitt & Co. now has 22 employees.

This last production year example is finished in classic Rosso Corsa Red with light tan leather interior and red Daytona seat trim. It was one of the last 15 built and recently received a full engine out service including a new clutch.
